Brittany Deehr Horsley

Brittany is a 2004 honors graduate of Howland High School where she was a four-year cheerleader.

Brittany began dancing at the age of three and came to our Academy in its inaugural year of 2001. She has extensive training in jazz, ballet, tap, tumbling, and hip hop. Her career in competitive dancing lasted for eight years. While competing in dance, Brittany competed in the solo, duet/trio, small group, large group, and production divisions in various disciplines of dance. Her routines garnered a multitude of Platinum, 1st Overall, and Special Awards at both the Regional and National levels. Most recently, Brittany was a part of KDA’s 2003 and 2004 National Championship Competition Teams.

For the past 10 years, Brittany has continued to be a part of our Competition Team but now in the capacity as an instructor. She is a vital part of our Staff that continues to help train our Team to dance at a level that makes them successful on both the regional and national levels of competition each year. For our National Competition Team, Brittany teaches stretch, jumps and turns, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and tumbling. For our Non-Competitive Dance Stars, you can find Brittany on staff as the Ballet Teacher. We are most grateful to have Brittany share her abilities and passion for dance with our KDA Dance Family.
