Jessica Fox

Jessica was first emerged into the dance world at the age of five. Shortly after, she also began gymnastics and cheerleading.  Jessica transferred to  Krystie’s Dance Academy in eighth grade and finished out her last five years of dance, training with Krystie on her National Championship Competition Team. She competed at the National level in dance and cheerleading until graduating high school. During high school, Jessica’s cheerleading squad took home one runner-up title and two consecutive state titles for OASSA Division IV Mount. Jessica graduated from Mineral Ridge High School in 2012, sixth in her class with honors. Jessica has been trained by local and National organizations in both cheerleading and tumbling. She has been instructed by CheerTime Athletics for 11 years, Keith Johnson of Northeast Ohio Allstars for 9 years, and UCA for 4 years. Jessica was on scholarship at Youngstown State University and cheered throughout her four years of undergraduate coursework. She graduated from YSU in 2016 with her Bachelors of Science in Biology. Jessica is currently on full scholarship working towards her Master’s Degree in Biology through YSU while employed as an anatomy and physiology teaching assistant for both YSU and Northeast Ohio Medical University (Neomed). Upon receipt of her degree, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a pediatrician. Jessica is a certified coach through the National Federation of State High School Associations and has been serving as the Mineral Ridge Junior High cheerleading coach for the past five years. She is so excited to rejoin KDA and it’s staff this season!
